WHAT DOES IT DO?
Local Cryotherapy reduces pain, boosts circulation and reduces inflammation. It also increases the release of pain-relieving hormones and activity in the cells being treated, which accelerates healing. This makes it a great form of treatment for arthritic joints, lower back pain, neck pain, sports injuries and just about any muscular or skin condition.
Welcome To energICE cryo

-
IS CRYOTHERAPY SAFE?YES! Liquid nitrogen is a non-toxic natural gas. The nitrogen that makes up 78% of the air we breathe is the same used to cool the Cryotherapy machine.
-
WILL I BE ABLE TO TOLERATE THE COLD?There is no actual freezing, only the feeling of being cold. It is simply very cold air flowing over the surface of the skin.
-
HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER EACH TREATMENT?During each session the body releases endorphins which are hormones that make you feel good and energetic. Clients suffering from pain in general, will experience decreased inflammation and relief almost immediately. Like any therapy, the more sessions, the better the results.
-
IS CRYOTHERAPY COMFORTABLE?Yes. Cryotherapy involves dry, hyper-cooled air flowing over the skin surface, so the process never freezes skin tissues, muscles or organs. The result is only a “feeling” of being cold.
-
WHAT IF I AM OFTEN COLD OR GET COLD EASILY?Since the cold from Cryotherapy only penetrates the surface of the skin, you will experience a chill to the outer surface of your body. Your vital organs, muscles and tissues will all remain at their normal body temperature.
-
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED TO ACHIEVE OPTIMAL RESULTS?Depending upon the condition being treated, it should initially take around 6 treatments in close succession (every other day) within 2 weeks period. After this initial loading period, maintenance treatments should be at least once per week.
-
WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF LOCAL CRYOTHERAPY?Cryotherapy is very well tolerated and has minimal risks. Systolic blood pressure during the procedure can increase by 10 points but will reverse after the procedure as peripheral circulation returns to normal. Allergic reactions to extreme cold (chilblain) are rare.
